• Language Proficiency: Meet the minimum language requirements for NOC skill level B occupations.
• Wage Offer: Receive a wage offer in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.

Health Care Professional Category

British Columbia is in need of more health care professionals. The Skills Immigration (SI) - Healthcare Professional category of the BC PNP assists physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals in working in B.C. and gaining permanent residence.

International Post-Graduate Category

If you hold a graduate degree with Masters or Doctoral degrees in the natural, applied, or health sciences from an eligible educational institution in British Columbia, you have an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the province's rapidly developing technology, healthcare, and applied sciences sectors. This category allows you to apply for permanent residence without a job offer.

Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category

This category is for individuals working in specific entry-level or semi-skilled positions in food processing, tourism/hospitality, or long-haul trucking, or those working in entry-level or semi-skilled positions residing and working in the Northeast Development Region of British Columbia. It provides an avenue for these workers to obtain permanent residency in the province. To qualify, you must first secure a valid job offer from a local BC employer/recruiter.

Documents Required for Skilled Workers

To apply for the skilled worker category, the following documents are required by the BC PNP:

• Offer of Employment: Employers need to provide a written offer of employment on the official company letterhead to support their employees' immigration applications.
• Proof of Sufficient Funds: Demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to support yourself and your family members.
• Valid Passport and Travel Documents: Provide a valid passport and other necessary travel documents.
